Opening of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum

On October 26, the “Tbilisi Silk Road” forum was opened with the speech of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, in the Opera and Ballet Theater. The head of the government emphasized the importance of the forum as an effective economic platform.
110 delegates from the Business Chamber of Asian & Gulf Countries and First Vice President David Tsirdava attended the event.
Within the framework of the forum, the delegates had the opportunity to hold meetings with representatives of various fields, such as – trade, transport, energy, investments, tourism, communications, financial technologies – to discuss current events and set goals for future mutual cooperation.

The Business Chamber of Asian & Gulf Countries would like to thank the government sector, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Gharibashvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, the entire organizational staff and its head, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Genadi Arveladze, for organizing such a high-ranking event.
