Meetings at the Dubai Business Forum

The first day of the ongoing business forum in Dubai continued with bilateral meetings with representatives of the business community.

The meeting with the president of Dubai Chambers, Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, during which attention was paid to strengthening cooperation, as well as an important conversation with the Regional Director of Dubai Chambers – Middle East and CIS, Abdulla Baker, is worth mentioning.
During the conversation, the interest of their member companies in the Georgian agricultural sector was highlighted, for that purpose a visit to Georgia was planned in the near future.
,,Dubai Chambers’‘ has representation in different countries, at this stage the territory of Georgia is covered by the representation of Azerbaijan. Another meeting was held with Sanan Mammad Nasibli, the head of Dubai Chamber’s representation in Azerbaijan, within the framework of which the parties discussed the possibilities of opening a representation in Georgia.
Also, the issues of complex cooperation are being reconciled with the Director of Indian company KONKAN FINANCIAL CAPITAL { FINCAP } LTD. NBFC Ajay Tambe. The parties are making final decisions on mutual cooperation.
The desire to become a member of the Business Chamber and the desire to expand cooperation was expressed during a meeting with Ashish Kumar Sarkar – Commercial Counsellor of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and further steps of cooperation were planned.
An important dialogue was also held with Mr. Rutto K. Erick- the President of the “Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry”, special attention was paid to the topic of export and the introduction of Georgian production.
Also, Important meetings were held with the following persons: Leonard Thangavelu – Chief Representative of ,,Dubai Chambers” in Singapore,
Sam S. Hong – Managing Director of BUH Consulting,
Samir Ismayilov – CEO of Optimal Logistics Group, Azerbaijan shipping company
Khalid Al Ali – Regional Director of ,,Dubai Chambers” – Africa,
Yerzhan Nausha – Business Development Officer of investment company ,,VAULT INVESTMENTS”.
The conversation touched on the cooperation between the countries and the need for joint, effective decision-making, which will promote to expand partnership ties in different directions.
We are glad that the first day of the Dubai Business Forum was so successful and productive.
