“September 27, 1993 – in the chronology of the history of Georgia, is a hard and fatal date, the common tragedy of Georgians and Abkhazians caused by Russian aggression. The day that diametrically changed the political and social fate of Georgia. For me, as a resident of Sukhum, remembering the war in Abkhazia and its results are even more twofold painful for me, a person who was a resident of Sukhumi. Today is not only about grief and memory, it is also about hope. There is hope, that the territorial integrity of our country will be restored soon by the de-occupation of the country and in a peaceful way. This will be the greatest prize for the memory of the heroes who fought and died in the war with honor in.”
