The First Vice President of the Business Chamber of Asian and Gulf Countries, Mr. David Tsirdava was on a business visit to Kuwait, in order to deepen trade and other business relations between Georgia and Gulf countries. He held meetings with representatives of a large Kuwaiti trading company, where one of the main points of the discussion was increasing the export of products produced in Georgia, introducing new goods, and using additional opportunities in this direction.
All negotiations were accomplished successfully and the parties reached an agreement on the implementation of various measures for the reconciliation and rapprochement of the Georgian and Kuwaiti business sectors and fruitful cooperation.
Our Kuwaiti partner’s support for our initiative allows us to take effective steps in the near future. With the direct involvement and organization of the business chamber, we give Georgian entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate in the exhibition arranged for Georgia in the most prestigious shopping center in Kuwait, which will help them to export and establish business connections at the international level. This itself determines the transition of trade and economic relations between the countries to a new stage.
