On April 12, the first vice president of the
Business Chamber of Asian and the Gulf Countries – Davit Tsirdava, the vice president – Giorgi Otaridze, the director of the Research Institute of International Trade and Investment – Gvantsa Elgandarashvili and the advisor of the first vice president of the business chamber – Khatia Thandilashvili held a meeting with the chairman of the
Public Private Partnership Agency – with Mr. Levan Batiashvili.
On the meeting there was discussed the possibility of implementing strategically important projects for our country through effective coordination of the private and public sectors. Emphasis was placed on cooperation in such important sectors for Georgia as: energy, agriculture, education and industry.
During the business dialogue, the importance of the entry of high-reputable investors into the country, including from the GCC countries, was also emphasized, in which direction the business chamber is actively working and conducting negotiations with potential investors from the Gulf countries.
The subject of the parties’ conversation was also the prospects of cooperation between the “Research Institute of International Trade and Investments” and the “Public and Private Sector Cooperation Agency” established within the framework of the Chamber of Commerce.
