We are pleased to announce that Mehmet Bozan, a Turkish citizen who is also the Chief Foreign Advisor to the Director-General of the Turkish Business Confederation, BİRKONFED, has been appointed President of the Business Chamber of Asian and Gulf countries. The appointment of Mr. Mehmet’s position serves to further strengthen the business chamber and to successfully implementation of the set goals.
Mr. Mehmet, as the newly appointed President of the Chamber, is interested in Georgia’s business investment potential and its promotion in Turkey. From the very first day of his appointment to this position, the implementation of various important investment projects in Georgia has been actively considered by Turkish businesses and companies.
An economic summit is planned to be organized by Birkonfed in Istanbul in February this year. A memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Business Chamber and the Turkish Business Confederation Birkonfed at the summit.
Close cooperation between the representatives of the Georgian and Turkish business sectors in the region is extremely necessary for the development of each country’s economy.
As the main goal of the Business Chamber of Asian and Gulf countries is to promote Georgia as a country with a favorable environment for investment and business, the appointment of Mr. Mehmet Bozan as President is a good opportunity for rapprochement between the Turkish and Georgian business investment sectors, future relations and development.
